NCB Full Form:

The NCB full form is Narcotics Control Bureau. Under the Ministry of Home Affairs of India, this apex coordinating and intelligence agency works. The primary focus of this Bureau is to fight drug smuggling tracking and abuse the illegal substance. Narcotics Control Bureau was established in March 1986 under section 4 (3) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985. The headquarter are present in New Delhi, India. The fields units and offices and officers are present all over India such as located in Mumbai, Indore, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Jodhpur, Chandigarh, Jammu, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Guwahati and Patna.

Characters of NCB:

• Collaboration of conduct by different officers, State Governments and other administrations under the principal Act, the Customs Act, 1962, the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and any other law for the time being in force in connection with the enforcement of the top Act.

•  Assistance to the concerned authorities in foreign countries and concerned multinational associations with a view to easing collaboration and universal action for forestallment and repression of illicit business in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
•  Collaboration of conduct taken by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Ministry of Welfare and other concerned Ministries, Departments or Organisations in respect of matters relating to drug abuse.
