If your grade point for five main subjects are:

B Subject 2: 8
C Subject 3: 8
D Subject 4: 7
E Subject 5: 8
Add these grade points: 9+8+8+7+8=40
- Divide the total of grade points with 5(40/5=8)
- So, the CGPA is 8
- for the percentage of these subjects, multiple 8 with9.5
- So, the percentage is 76%
How to calculate the GPA?
GPA is calculated by dividing the average grade points a student got by the total credit hours attended by the student.
GPA =average grade points / total hours attended
GPA= 4+5+7+4+3/5 = 23/5 = 4.6 GPA
